We need to recognize climate change is affecting our livestock and therefore our ideas need to move forward in our thinking but still keep our proud rich culture; which is our pride and joy and envy of many. We together can work to keep respect in our belief for our future generations, we need to grow crops and so enable us to reduce our herds and free up our children to work hard in school to achieve great things.
Our health needs to be taken care of and Borehole for clean supply of water and to irrigate our crops. A program to sustain us through the ever increasing drought's we are experiencing.
Most of all we need to stand together for the good of our future- proud, united working together for the good of our Samburu people, supporting each other in all we do. This is what I want for my people, and as a result of our cultural visits to
On each visit to
I want our Samburu Culture to be respected and admired throughout the world, and to continue to earn respect for my family NAME. in a way my father would remain proud of, and reward my mother for her hard work in raising us through good and bad times. All sons are married now and daughters have welcomed their wives, into family" Lelesengei". May the future be bright for all of us in our communities. May we be blessed with good health - healthy stock and remain happy and prosper on down through generations to come!! NGA!
